About lotre studio
lotre studio (Luisa Lauber Knitwear Design GmbH) is a development studio and production agency for industrial knitted products based in Berlin. Founded in 2021 as a knitwear label, the studio has specialised in the development of knitted products in the fields of fashion, technical textiles and smart textiles. At the centre of the workshop is an industrial knitting machine of the type Stoll ADF 32W, complemented by a professional steaming system and two linking machines for various gauges. The service portfolio covers contract development from concept to volume production, trend research and design, swatches and prototypes, as well as pre-sale models ahead of volume production. For large-scale series production, the studio draws on a network of production partners in Germany and other European countries, covering a broad range of needle-bed gauges from coarse to fine knitwear. In addition, workshops for universities on knitting technology, knit design and sustainable production are offered.
