About Faust Kunststoffwerk
Faust Kunststoffwerk is a family business founded in Glandorf in 1953, now in its third generation, which manufactures technical plastic components and high-tech parts using single- and multi-component injection molding (2K). Around 80 injection molding machines — mainly from Arburg and Engel — with clamping forces of 15 to 700 tonnes operate in three-shift operation on 8,500 m² of climate-controlled production space. Over 100 million parts are produced annually with part weights from under 1 gram to 2,200 grams; more than 1,000 tonnes of plastic are processed each year using over 350 material types. The company's own ISO 9001-certified toolmaking department with CNC milling and EDM centers holds a stock of around 1,600 tools and enables new tool construction, maintenance, repair and tool takeovers. The range of services extends from design and DFM optimization through finishing (painting, printing, laser, welding) to the assembly of subassemblies and complete devices. Customers come from, among others, automotive, medical technology, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering; the company supplies customers worldwide.
