About us

ma FormFabrik GmbH has been active in the field of rapid prototyping technologies since 1991 and manufactures from extremely precise micro parts to large-volume parts over 2 m. Its range of services covers prototyping and functional sample production in STL, SLS, FDM, vacuum casting, polyamide vacuum casting (PA6) and metal investment casting, as well as 1K and 2K precision injection moulding of all thermoplastics and elastomers. For injection moulding, 13 DEMAG and Arburg machines with clamping forces of 25 to 200 t are available. The offering is complemented by tool and mould making for injection moulding and stamping tools made of aluminium or steel, including pre-series tools, product development and design in SolidWorks, as well as assembly group mounting and complete device manufacturing. Further services include the machining of semi-finished plastic and metal stock, pad and screen printing, bonding, ultrasonic and thermal welding, EMC metallisation of plastics, and plant and fixture construction. Customers come from the fields of interior/exterior, household goods and plant engineering. In 2025, ownership was transferred to Managing Director Michael Ahrens. Together with ma Precision Parts and ma Kompetenz Kunststoff, the ma Group offers the complete package from component manufacturing and injection mould toolmaking to project management.
