About us
marti engineering ag is a special-purpose machinery manufacturer based in the Glarnerland region of Switzerland with around 50 employees. The company develops and manufactures customised automation solutions, special-purpose machines, robot cells, robot grippers, testing systems, ergonomic manual workstations and conveyor technology for industrial production processes. Its range of services covers the entire value chain from a single source: feasibility studies, mechanical and electrical engineering, PLC programming (Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500, ET200SP, PROFIsafe), in-house manufacturing of machine components, control cabinet construction, mechanical and electrical assembly, and commissioning. Service offerings such as overhauls, maintenance, repairs and worldwide on-site support round out the portfolio. Areas of application include, among others, the automotive industry (body-in-white, aluminium die casting), plastics, food, packaging, pharmaceutical and watch industries, medical technology, furniture and metal processing, and mechanical engineering. Its customer base includes companies such as ABB, Siemens, V-Zug, USM, Pacovis and Halag. The company is headquartered in Mitlödi in the canton of Glarus, to which it moved in 1988 after being founded in Schwanden in 1981.
