Special machinery construction and contract manufacturing from a single source

Maschinenbau Böhmer GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 1983 and headquartered in Steinebach in the Westerwald. The company develops and manufactures machines, tools and components for OEMs and TIER1 suppliers of the automotive industry. Its portfolio includes special machinery construction, foundry automation (spray technology, gripping technology, melt dosing, cooling and conveying technology, deburring, marking and inspection), robot welding systems, balancing technology for turbocharger cartridge assemblies, and metrology with 3D coordinate measurement and 3D scanning. In contract manufacturing, components made of machinable materials are turned, milled, ground and waterjet-cut; the group of companies also offers plastic 3D printing. With more than 90 employees and 5,800 m² of production space, the company achieves a high depth of manufacturing that enables flexibility, short response times and comprehensive quality control. Through a worldwide network of service partners, Böhmer supports systems from commissioning through maintenance and retrofit.
