MaxMedic Pharma GmbH was founded in 2001 and began operations in Munich with three urological preparations. The owner-managed pharmaceutical company markets its own prescription and non-prescription medicines in the therapeutic areas of urology, dermatology, gynaecology and respiratory diseases. MaxMedic acquires the rights to already approved and marketed medicines that represent a standard in their therapeutic area, and continues to offer them under its own name and well-known brand. The product portfolio is continuously expanded through the acquisition of additional medicines. A manageable company size and cooperation with specialists in regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical logistics and contract manufacturing ensure high-quality products and fast decision-making processes. The portfolio includes, among others, Nomon mono (pumpkin seed dry extract for prostate complaints), Dysurgal 0.5 mg (atropine sulphate) and Tussoret day/night capsules (codeine phosphate). The company is now based in Planegg near Munich.
