mb bergmann GmbH is a contract manufacturer and special machinery builder based in Hösbach-Rottenberg with over 25 years of market experience and more than 2,000 completed projects. The company produces turned and milled parts for mechanical and plant engineering, the food and packaging machinery industry, the automotive sector, textile and electrical engineering, as well as medical and hydraulic technology. The value chain includes design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, COSCOM, DELCAM), CNC turning, 3D and 5-axis milling, wire EDM, grinding, laser cutting of PKD/CVD/PCBN, vacuum brazing, shot blasting, pickling, sawing, 3D coordinate measurement, and the assembly of modules and special machines. Materials processed include steel, stainless steel, and cutting materials such as polycrystalline diamond, CVD diamond and PCBN. The modern, continuously expanded machine park enables prototypes such as the IAA wheel rim of an automotive supplier as well as series and assembly production. More than 50 percent of energy requirements are self-generated.

Steel
Machining and shot blasting (own injector blasting system exclusively for steel).
Stainless steel
Machining, shot blasting and pickling in the stainless steel blasting system and stainless steel pickling bath respectively.
Polycrystalline diamond (PKD)
Laser cutting of PKD blanks up to 3.2 mm thickness with a 100 W YAG laser without EDM burn-off edge.
CVD diamond
Laser-machinable cutting material for precision tools, cut on a 220×220 mm worktable.
PCBN
Solid PCBN cutting materials are precisely cut with a YAG laser.
Natural diamond
Brazed in high vacuum onto substrate materials (brazing chamber Ø140×285 mm, up to approx. 980 °C).
Cermet
Cemented-carbide-like cutting material for vacuum brazing onto substrate materials.
