MB Spritzgusstechnik GmbH, headquartered in Marktoberdorf (Allgäu), specialises in the manufacture of technical injection-moulded parts. The company produces individual parts and complete assemblies in unit weights from 0.5 to 40,000 g on 30 computer-controlled injection moulding machines with clamping forces of 25 to 2,700 t; more than 1,700 different components are produced for series production as well as spare parts. Processes include thermoplastic foam injection moulding (TSG), injection compression moulding, overmoulding of insert parts, tandem injection moulding, gas-assisted injection moulding (GID) and 2-shot injection moulding. Nearly all common thermoplastics such as ABS, ASA, PA6, PA6.6, PC, PP, TPE, PMMA and PBT are processed, as well as materials based on renewable raw materials and recycled materials. Injection moulding production is complemented by CAD/CAM-supported toolmaking with milling, die sinking and wire EDM for tools up to 30,000 kg, finishing, assembly/kitting, storage and logistics. Customers are found in industries such as commercial vehicles, automotive, furniture, electronics, aircraft manufacturing and packaging.
