About MDL Anchor Lamina GmbH
MDL Anchor Lamina GmbH is a service provider based in Chemnitz for metal forming as well as tool and machine engineering. The company offers CNC contract manufacturing (milling, one-offs and small series) on a machine fleet of 18 CNC machining centres, including gantry, travelling-column, boring mill and bed-type machines; workpiece materials include structural steel, grey cast iron and aluminium, with part sizes up to 6,500 x 4,200 x 1,500 mm and up to 25 t unit weight. Further manufacturing technologies include flame cutting, face milling, surface grinding, stress-relief annealing and steel welded constructions. Additional focal points are the design and turnkey manufacture of plate cutting dies in steel and cast construction (Coil Cut technology, single- and multi-drop, swing and pivoting cuts, lengthwise and crosswise dividers) including stacker systems, adapter plates and accessories, as well as the distribution of die-making standard components for stamping, mould and tool making. Design with CATIA V5, assembly and worldwide ramp-up/commissioning complete the value chain; deep-hole drilling, turning, sandblasting, painting, galvanizing and electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic assembly are performed in cooperation. Customers come from automotive, tool and special-purpose machine engineering, printing machine industry, medical technology, automation, household appliances as well as oil/gas. The company manufactures at two Chemnitz sites with a total of 5,000 sqm of production
