MESA Metalltechnik GmbH manufactures construction parts from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum sheet metal in the small and medium series. Typical products include control and computer enclosures, electrical cabinets, 19-inch inserts, front panels, chassis, and a variety of individual components. The value chain includes laser and press working, trimming and bending, laser, MIG-MAG, and TIG welding with robotic welding cells, spot welding, setting press-fit connectors, riveting, deburring, sanding, and satin finishing, laser marking, and assembly of complete pre-assembled enclosures including retail packaging. Coatings, painting, and screen printing are carried out through cooperating partners. Designs are prepared for manufacturing via 3D-CAD processing (IGES/STEP). Main customers come from the electrical engineering industry; to an increasing extent, MESA supplies completely pre-assembled enclosures in retail packaging. The company was founded in 1994 in Adlkofen near Landshut and has operated a plant in Geisenhausen since November 2002 for the largely automated pre-production of sheet metal parts.
