About us
Metallgießerei Brückner is a family-run sole proprietorship founded in 1967 in Zeulenroda-Triebes (East Thuringia) and specialises in aluminium and zinc permanent mould casting. Using gravity casting and, since 2024, tilt permanent mould casting, the company produces castings in lot sizes of 50 to 5,000 pieces with gross weights of up to 10 kg; with the Kurtz Ersa tilt casting machine, piece weights above 10 kg are also possible. Nine aluminium alloys according to DIN 1706 (including AlSi8Cu3, AlSi12, AlSi7Mg0,3) as well as ZAMAK (ZnAl4Cu1) are cast. Value creation takes place largely in-house: melting operation with nine induction crucible furnaces and two pre-melting furnaces, fettling, CNC and conventional machining, heat treatment (T6, T64, stress-relief annealing, soft annealing), blasting with stainless steel grit, sand and dry ice blasting as well as assembly. Main customers come from general mechanical engineering, the electrical industry, automotive engineering and the furniture industry. Quality assurance is carried out with 3D production measuring systems (KEYENCE XM 5000, VL 800), X-ray inspection, tensile tests and 3.1 inspection certificates according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
