About us
Metallverarbeitung Gratz is a family-run manufacturing company from Floh-Seligenthal in Thuringia that has been producing precision turned parts according to customer specifications for over 100 years. The production program includes long turning (diameters 5–32 mm, length over 2000 mm), short turning up to 400 mm in diameter and 800 mm in length, multi-axis turning up to SW36x50, automatic turned parts up to 50 mm in diameter, and thread rolling as a non-cutting cold forming process up to 52 mm in diameter (metric and imperial). The offer is completed by the assembly of manufactured metal components into assemblies, including material ordering and delivery end-to-end. Non-ferrous metals, automated steels, case steels (1.0570, 1.7131), and stainless steels (1.4301, 1.4305, 1.4404, 1.4571) are processed. Parts are manufactured from single pieces and small quantities up to serial parts with 10,000 pieces. The machine park includes universal lathes from DMG Mori and EMCO, as well as long turning lathes from Star.
