Metallwarenfabrik Haufe GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized family business founded in 1905 in Großröhrsdorf near Dresden, now run by the fourth generation. The company manufactures display carriers and wire displays, merchandising aids as well as stamped and CNC wire-bent metal parts. Materials processed include steel wire with diameters of 2.0 to 10.0 mm as well as profiles such as strip and flat steel, oval tube and rectangular tube; stainless steel wire is also used. The production program comprises stamping, wire bending, pressing, assembly, embossing as well as resistance, MAG and TIG welding, complemented by in-house toolmaking and surface finishing such as bright zinc plating, nickel plating, chrome plating and powder coating to the RAL colour chart. The focus is on retail fixtures with merchandise presentation systems; in addition, Haufe supplies other industries as a subcontractor for wire-bent and stamped parts. Production is carried out according to drawings, samples or CAD files; three-dimensional bends can be produced directly from CAD data. The company is certified according to ISO 9001:2015.

Founded by locksmith Max Haufe; first wire-bent parts in a rented barn in the immediate vicinity of today's site

Opening of the first building at today's site on 5 November

Averted dismantling by Russian troops; production resumed in July
