Mey Maschinenbau Prien has specialized in the series production of machines, assemblies and individual parts since 1963. The company handles orders of 50 to 5,000 units and realizes the entire value chain from a single source: CNC machining on 7-axis turn-mill centers and 5-axis milling centers, sheet metal processing with punch/laser cutting and bending, joining technology such as welding, bonding and riveting, and surface finishing such as powder coating, anodizing, phosphating and galvanizing, including cable assembly, control cabinet construction and assembly with acceptance tests. Materials processed include aluminium, steel, stainless steels and copper. Project start including prototype construction (including 3D printing) and series ramp-up takes place at the main plant in Prien am Chiemsee (8,000 sqm); series production runs in Győr (Hungary), with assembly, final inspection and worldwide shipping in Nyúl (over 7,500 sqm combined). Customers come from mechanical engineering and OEM supply, including start-ups and niche markets such as BigRep and TREVENTUS Mechatronics. More than 200 employees serve over 100 active customers.

Mey Maschinenbau operates certified quality management (DIN EN ISO) and welding certifications according to DIN 2303 Class Q1/Q2 – BK1 to BK4 as well as DIN EN ISO 3834-2. Sheet blank inspection is performed optically via VQC, and parts are checked for dimensional accuracy and completeness.
