About MHG Maschinenbau

MHG Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed medium-sized company from Saarbrücken. Its value creation covers three main areas: general mechanical engineering (manufacturing), gearbox construction and gearbox repair, as well as special machinery construction. On approximately 2,200 m² of production space, individual parts and small series are manufactured: CNC turning and milling, gear grinding, cylindrical and surface grinding, keyway cutting (broaching, shaping, wire EDM), waterjet cutting and welding according to DIN EN 1090-2 EXC2. The gear program includes spur gears, pinion shafts, bevel and worm gear sets, chain sprockets and lantern pinions, as well as internal and external gearing, including heat treatment via partners and regrinding of worn gear teeth. Gearbox repairs are possible up to a unit weight of approx. 20 tonnes. Customers come, among others, from the paper and cement industries, rail vehicle engineering, automotive supply industry, medical technology and electrical engineering in Germany and neighboring European countries.
