About MIMplus Technologies

MIMplus Technologies is a family-owned company based in Pforzheim that has been producing high-precision metal parts and assemblies for demanding applications since the 1990s. Its core processes are Metal Injection Molding (MIM) for complex geometries in large volumes and sinter-based additive manufacturing for small to medium batch sizes, complemented by precision casting, press sintering and machining. The focus is on processes offering high design freedom and material efficiency, including for demanding high-tech and functional materials – such as stainless steel, titanium and rare-earth permanent magnets; new powder metallurgical materials are developed on customer request. The process chain includes co-engineering, in-house tool and machine building, heat and surface treatment, CNC milling, tumbling and polishing, and assembly – all entirely in-house. With over 25 million parts and assemblies per year, MIMplus supplies customers from medical technology, robotics, automotive, aerospace, electronics, luxury goods and industry. The group employs around 550 staff, of whom approximately 200 are based at the Pforzheim site.
