System partner from idea to series production
MKS Spritzguss + Formenbau GmbH in Lüdenscheid is a system partner for plastics manufacturing that accompanies projects from the initial idea through to series production. On more than 4,000 m² of production space, the company manufactures plastic parts using injection molding, including multi-component injection molding with two or more components and injection molding with inserts made of metal or other materials using insert robotics. In addition, MKS offers ceramic injection molding. The process chain comprises engineering with part design and CAE analyses, prototypes from 3D printing processes or prototype tooling, in-house tool and mold making, production with fully automated manufacturing, finishing through hard machining, laser marking and ultrasonic welding, as well as assembly, kitting and packaging of assemblies. A PPS and machine data control system supports efficiency and reliability throughout the entire process chain; delivery is made just in time with the requested documentation. In July 2020, Konrad Häupler Werkzeug- und Formenbau GmbH in Nuremberg was acquired and is continued as a site for tool and mold making. In August 2025, the company was renamed from M.K.S. Kunststoff-Spritzguß GmbH to MKS Spritzguss + Formenbau GmbH.
