Family business since 1960
MKW Holding GmbH is an Austrian company founded in 1960, 100 percent family-owned, with around 500 employees at four sites in Austria and Slovakia. Under the umbrella of the holding, the two divisions MKW Kunststofftechnik GmbH and MKW Oberflächen+Draht GmbH are combined. The service spectrum includes injection moulding and compression moulding (thermoset and thermoplastic, among other things toilet seats), wire and sheet metal processing, tool and fixture making, as well as powder coating of aluminium, steel, galvanised workpieces and castings in all RAL colours and special colours, including wood-grain coating and inline pre-anodising. With around 3,000,000 m² of coated surface, 3,000,000 produced toilet seats and 3,200 t of processed wire per year, MKW supplies industries such as sanitary, construction/facade/windows, agriculture, kitchens/furniture, household appliances and automotive supply. From product development through design, simulation, prototyping and toolmaking to assembly, packaging and logistics, manufacturing is provided from a single source. The headquarters is in Weibern in Upper Austria; further production sites are located in Haag/Hausruck and Prešov (Slovakia).
