About MODELL-N
MODELL-N is a master-certified model-making workshop in Moorenweis near Munich, founded in 1992 as "Designobjekte Nagel" and operating under the name MODELL-N since 2012. The company produces design models from the first draft through to production readiness, architectural models, creative and exclusive model making, as well as test setups, mock-ups, pre-models, ergonomics studies and prototypes with functional samples. Its value chain covers CAD design in Rhinoceros, Mastercam and Siemens NX, CNC machining, manual shaping, rapid prototyping, casting of silicone and synthetic resin, volume models made from PU foam and Ureol, laminated lightweight construction in GFRP, as well as machining and high-gloss polishing of metals such as aluminium and plastics such as Plexiglas. An in-house paint shop with paint mixing systems (RAL, Pantone, NCS, among others) and its own electronics department for sensor technology, optics, mechanics, pneumatics and lighting complement production; small series with electrical features are also realized. Clients come from industrial design, architecture, the household appliances industry and the automotive sector, including BORA, Kärcher, Leica, LIEBHERR, MAN, Porsche DESIGN and Vaillant.
