About us
Modell und Werkzeugbau GmbH in Torgelow is a service provider for machining, pattern and mould making, toolmaking and prototype construction. In contract manufacturing, components are produced by 3-axis CNC milling up to 1800 x 1000 mm, by 3+2-axis and 5-axis simultaneous milling up to a swing circle of Ø1040 mm, and by CNC turning up to Ø820 x 2000 mm; cast parts and welded constructions are also machined, while grinding and EDM are carried out in cooperation with contracting partners. In pattern and mould making, the company produces casting moulds for mineral casting, laminating moulds, foaming moulds, dies for the lost-wax process, as well as machine-moulding, hand-moulding and prototype pattern equipment up to 1600 x 1200 mm in all quality grades, including core boxes for core shooting machines and hot-box core boxes. In addition, the company manufactures tools and fixtures such as breaking, cutting, punching and deburring tools, measuring and inspection fixtures, as well as welding, bending and drilling fixtures. A quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015 accompanies production.
