About Modellbau Peter Helm
Modellbau Peter Helm is a sole proprietorship for pattern and mould making founded by Peter Helm in 2000, based in Duisburg-Aldenrade. At the Duisburg site, patterns made of wood, foam, synthetic resin, plastic and styrofoam are produced, built and maintained. The service spectrum ranges from prototype production to pattern moulds and hand moulding patterns through to series tooling. The company supplies patterns for the production of sand moulds and sand cores to DIN EN 12890 and manufactures castings in cooperation with partner companies. Modern CAD/CAM techniques are used for moulding in production; the offering also includes design, mould drawing as well as planning and on-site consulting. The patterns are used, among other things, in the foundry and casting industry, drive technology, mining technology, gearbox construction, hydraulic and wear-resistant castings, engine construction, pump construction, marine propulsion and wind power. Since 2021, the company has also been active on the Polish market as MB HELM Piotr Helm, as the successor to Joszko Modele.
