mould2part GmbH, headquartered in Trogen (Switzerland), was founded in 2006 and specialises in the rapid production of injection moulding tools and plastic parts in small quantities. Its range of services covers product development with moulding-optimised design, feasibility analyses and fill simulations, rapid tooling with aluminium tools, as well as injection moulding of prototypes, small and pre-series from a quantity of 1. Under the LSR Solution brand, the company also offers liquid silicone rubber (LSR) injection moulding, including silicone overmoulding and 2K injection moulding. Production is carried out with thermoplastics and LSR in the intended series material; the tools are manufactured in-house by CNC milling from aluminium. Typical quantities range between 10 and 15'000 parts, with up to 100'000 parts per prototype tool achievable depending on material and complexity, with lead times of 2 to 6 weeks. Customers come from the automotive, medical, electrical engineering and packaging industries; deliveries are primarily to the DACH region (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein). Around 30 employees work at the main plant in Trogen.
