About MPG
MPG Mendener Präzisionsrohr GmbH is a medium-sized manufacturer of seamless-drawn heat exchanger tubes, industrial tubes, finned tubes, swirl tubes, bimetal and safety double tubes as well as semi-finished products made of copper alloys. The product range also includes heat exchanger components such as coils (spirals), finned tube bundles and pre-assembled heat exchangers. The entire value chain takes place at the Menden site in the Sauerland region: an in-house foundry for alloy production, extrusion, rolling, drum, continuous and straight-line drawing machines, as well as finishing and quality assurance. In addition to standard alloys such as special brass, copper-nickel and aluminium bronze, the company develops customer-specific special alloys; titanium, steels, stainless steels, Monel and aluminium are also processed. The thermal engineering laboratory enables thermal measurements on prototypes and series products, and MPG also supports the design and engineering of heat exchangers. Customer industries include power plant and plant engineering, seawater desalination, the automotive industry, shipbuilding, heating and air-conditioning technology as well as the medical, food and pharmaceutical industries. As the successor to hde Metallwerk GmbH, MPG continues a tradition of metal processing spanning more than 150 years and supplies customers worldwide.

CuZn28Sn1As (special brass)
Arsenic-alloyed special brass with high corrosion resistance, e.g. in cooling water systems.
CuZn20Al2As (special brass)
Aluminium-alloyed brass for demanding thermal engineering applications.
CuNi10Fe1/1.6Mn
Copper-nickel alloy for seawater applications such as ship coolers and desalination plants.
CuNi30Mn1Fe
Copper-nickel with high corrosion and erosion resistance for aggressive media.
CuAl5As (aluminium bronze)
Aluminium bronze for tube applications subject to corrosion and erosion.
Titanium
Titanium for maximum corrosion resistance, e.g. in seawater desalination and offshore applications.
Stainless steel
Austenitic and duplex steels for seamless or welded industrial tubes.
Steel
Unalloyed and fine-grained structural steels for tubes in power plant and plant engineering.
NiCu30Fe (Monel)
Nickel-based material for highly chemically stressed applications.
In-house alloy production
Starting materials are tested in the in-house laboratory and matched to the intended use; special alloys available on customer request.
Cold drawing
Drum, continuous and straight-line drawing machines for tight wall thickness tolerances and low eccentricities.
