About mts Maschinenbau
mts Maschinenbau GmbH, headquartered in Mengen (Baden-Württemberg), develops and manufactures stacking columns (Klinken columns), load carriers, buffer racks, transport containers and feeding buffers (LCA – Low Cost Automation) for part handling in automated production lines. The systems are used for damage-free stacking, buffering and position-accurate provision of three-dimensional components, especially in body-in-white automotive manufacturing. Since 2016, mts has expanded its portfolio to include load carriers and racks for battery components and high-voltage lithium-ion batteries for e-mobility, up to solutions for recycling and 2nd-life applications. Manufacturing includes sheet metal laser cutting (Trumpf Fiberlaser), punch-laser processing, milling, welding as a certified welding specialist company, and assembly. Materials processed include sheet metal/steel, glass, carbon, composite materials and batteries. With around 150 employees, an in-house engineering department and production sites in Germany, Poland and the USA, as well as partners in Mexico, China and Turkey, mts supplies customers worldwide from development through prototype production to series production.
