About olo marzipan

olo marzipan O. Lohner AG is a Swiss confectionery manufactory based in Lyssach near Bern. Since 1933, the company has refined nuts and kernels and produces modelling and baking marzipan, handcrafted marzipan figurines, décor articles, marzipan snacks, almond nougat (almond brittle), the gluten- and lactose-free Bernese hazelnut gingerbread as well as almond, hazelnut and pistachio baking masses. Production takes place on modern systems in combination with traditional methods such as nougat production in a copper kettle; marzipan figurines are shaped and painted by hand. Customers include bakeries, pastry shops, pâtisserie and confectionery businesses, the baked goods, chocolate and ice cream industries, specialist retailers, gastronomy and industrial customers; the company also offers individual recipe development, flexible pack sizes and personalised corporate gifts. Around 99% of products meet the Swissness criteria; the facility is flour-free. Deliveries are made to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
