About the ORCA Group
The ORCA Group, headquartered in Villingen-Schwenningen, pools the machining know-how of several companies under the umbrella of L. Schaible GmbH & Co. KG and manufactures precision parts and assemblies in the field of machining technology. The manufacturing spectrum covers CNC turning from bar (single- and multi-spindle machines, sliding headstock, fixed headstock and hard turning machines), CNC milling on 3-, 4- and 5-axis machining centres, turn-mill centres, gear production in the module range 0.2 to 4.0, as well as grinding, finishing and honing. Materials include steel, aluminium (die-cast aluminium), grey cast iron and titanium; the machining of cast and forged blanks is part of the service portfolio. Customers come from the automotive, e-mobility, hydraulic/mobile hydraulic, mechanical engineering, medical technology, aerospace, apparatus engineering as well as metrology and testing technology sectors. The Group supplies customers worldwide and manufactures at sites in Germany, Poland and Switzerland; annual revenue is around €70 million.
