Company profile
OT Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG (OT Schwerin) was founded in Schwerin in 1993 and specializes in the complete regeneration of service-exposed components from stationary gas and steam turbines, civil aero engines and compressor systems. The service portfolio comprises chemical, mechanical and electrochemical stripping, cleaning and salt bath cleaning, heat treatment, non-destructive testing, laser wire and laser powder welding, machining and metallography. In addition, the company coats new parts with metallic and ceramic materials, including diffusion coating (chromizing/aluminizing) and thermal spraying (HVOF). The materials processed are predominantly high-temperature materials. A mobile coating service renews coatings on blade wheels, rotors and casing parts directly on site at power plants and workshops in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America and Australia/New Zealand. The Schwerin site (Werkstraße 4 and 115) offers around 18,000 m² of production space; approximately 120 employees are employed. Reference customers include Siemens Energy, MAN Energy Solutions, GE Gas Power, Ansaldo Energia and MTU Aero Engines.
