About Othmerding Technologies
Under the Othmerding Technologies brand, Othmerding GmbH develops and manufactures battery systems for mobile work machines and off-highway applications – from analysis through concept design and prototyping to series production and after-sales support. The systems are based on thermally stable LiFePO₄ cell chemistry and include an intelligent battery management system (BMS) with monitoring, diagnostics and remote monitoring as well as integrated auxiliary functions such as PDU, DC/DC converter, on-board charger, IoT modules, thermal management and heating systems. The battery housings are made of aluminium; steel and aluminium are welded, bent and milled in-house. Customers are OEMs and operators of crane and lifting technology, off-highway and logistics vehicles, construction and industrial machinery, and municipal and special-purpose vehicles. The company was founded in 2010 and is based at its headquarters in Ascheberg in the Münsterland region, with a total floor area of 9,500 sqm, a 3,000 sqm production hall and a 600 sqm office building.
