About Otten Metall- und Maschinenbau GmbH
Otten Metall- und Maschinenbau GmbH was founded in 1999 by master metalworker Christoph Otten and is now run in its second generation together with his sons Daniel and Jens Otten. At the main site in the Waldfeucht-Bocket industrial estate, more than 35 employees and apprentices work on an area of around 14,000 m² with a production hall of approximately 2,100 m². The company manufactures machined parts to sample or drawing (turning up to Ø830 x 4000 mm, milling up to 4500 mm, sawing up to Ø450 mm, surface grinding up to 900 x 500 mm), sheet metal parts by waterjet and laser cutting, as well as assembled and welded assemblies from one-off pieces to series production. In addition, Otten implements steel structures, machine, plant and special machinery construction including electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics and control technology from PLC to CNC, as well as maintenance and repair, also mobile on site. Materials processed include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, bronze, brass and plastics. Customers come from industry, construction and civil engineering as well as from the private sector; delivery and installation are carried out with the company's own vehicle fleet.
