About Otto Injection Molding
Otto Injection Molding is a family-owned company founded in 1956 and headquartered in Niederwiesa (Erzgebirge, Saxony), specializing in the development and manufacture of demanding injection molding tools as well as the production of molded parts and injection molding series. As a system supplier, the company accompanies customers from the first product idea through design, simulation (Cadmould 3D-F) and toolmaking to series production readiness. Tools up to 500 x 600 mm and up to one tonne in weight are manufactured – for thermoplastics, thermosets and elastomers, high-performance and bioplastics, as well as plastics with a high filler content. The technology spectrum covers multi-component injection molding (2K and 3K), reel-to-reel band encapsulation, fluid injection technology, microstructured molded parts, overmolding of insert parts, and hot runner and needle valve systems. In addition, the company manufactures die casting tools for lead and zinc as well as casting molds for lead, including for radiation protection applications. Customers are found in the automotive, aerospace, medical and electrical engineering industries as well as in sanitary and toy manufacturing.
