About PALM
PALM is a family-owned company founded in 1872 in the fifth generation, manufacturing paper, corrugated cardboard, and packaging solutions. The value chain includes recycling, paper production, and packaging manufacturing, thereby creating a closed material cycle. The group operates two recycling companies, five paper mills, and 33 corrugated cardboard plants. Production takes place in modern facilities with environmentally friendly processes; recently, the company invested approximately 200 million Euros in a new corrugated cardboard plant in Alzenau. Customers include buyers of packaging and paper solutions in Europe, supplemented by its own sales companies such as Palm Paper Iberia in Bilbao. With approximately 4,800 employees and an annual revenue of 2.0 billion Euros (2025), PALM is among the established providers in the paper and packaging industry. The company has been awarded EcoVadis certificates for its sustainability commitment at several locations and has received the German Packaging Award multiple times.
