The Company
The Kauth Group is a family-owned metalworking company headquartered in Denkingen (Baden-Württemberg) with around 450 employees at four German sites. It manufactures fastening solutions and assemblies for the automotive industry, in particular for combustion and electric vehicles: axle and seat fastenings, threaded plates, brackets for electric, tank and exhaust systems, door, tailgate and flap hinge systems as well as engine and transmission mounts. Core competencies lie in stamping (progressive die and transfer, 250–2,500 t press force), deep drawing with cold extrusion presses, multi-stage forming and tube drawing, where the company is the technology leader producing solid and tall tubes up to 90 mm with material thickening. The portfolio is complemented by laser, joining and assembly technology, toolmaking, prototyping with rapid prototyping and machining. Production is 100 percent in Germany, with CAQ-supported quality control and short distances to the automotive industry's development centers.

Logistics
Technologies and Processes
Stamping (progressive die and transfer)
Servo presses with 250 to 2,500 tons of press force for highly precise stamped parts.
Deep Drawing with Cold Extrusion Presses
Cold working produces particularly high component strength for safety-relevant applications.
Tube Drawing
Solid and tall tubes up to 90 mm with material thickening and repair-friendly threaded inserts (Timesert/Helicoil).
Laser, MIG/MAG, Spot, Projection and Stud Welding
Universal welding system with video-monitored process control for virtually all welding techniques.
Bonding, Tox Riveting, Clinching
Mechanical and adhesive joining processes for assemblies without heat input.
Machining
Machining areas of 600–4,000 mm length and 400–1,800 mm width.
