About PLANplus
PLANplus Technische Gebäudeplanung GmbH & Co. KG is an independent engineering office located in Kirchheim bei München, founded in 1997 by Rudolf Steger. The 20-person team of engineers, technicians, and system planners assumes overall planning responsibility for all areas of technical building equipment (M&E): heating, ventilation, climate, cooling, sanitary, building automation, electrical engineering, sprinkler systems, compressed air technology, PV systems, and combined heat and power (CHP). Since 2015, the office has worked exclusively with the BIM method; all trades are coordinated in a common digital model. Additionally, PLANplus offers Scan2BIM via 3D laser scanning, BIM2FM for data preparation for Facility Management software, construction management, and object monitoring and simulations. The office has realized over 700 planning projects for industry, commercial, residential construction, and the public sector, including projects for Munich Airport, Hofbräu München, and DEVELEY in France, Poland, and the USA.

Quality
Since 2007, a continuous quality management system has been in place; from 2008 to 2013, the office was annually audited by TÜV Rheinland with the 'Planer am Bau' quality mark. All planning phases are model-based in BIM, allowing plans, simulations, and calculations to be derived and checked directly from the model.
