About Polarpunkt
Polar-Punkt is an independent company founded in 2019 by Bernd Weiskopf and based in Steinfeld (Bavaria). At its core is the patented Dynamic Cam-Shaft System (DKWS), a fundamental principle of mechanical engineering that can be used in a modular fashion in a wide variety of machines. Polarpunkt licenses the system to licensees and supports them in implementing it in concrete application areas. Fields of invention and application include, among others, the hydrogen economy – such as the efficient compression of hydrogen (H₂) for fuel cells, storage and transport, as well as the hydrogen combustion engine – plus drive technology, gearbox construction, combustion technology, hydraulics, pneumatics, engine technology, welding and soldering technology, and testing technology. The founder is a master toolmaker and long-time independent designer with experience in numerous technical fields.
