About PROTOTEC

PROTOTEC is a 3D printing service provider from Attendorn in the Sauerland region that has been manufacturing functional components additively since 1995 – from prototypes to small-series and series production. The company offers more than 10 processes such as SLS, SLA, MSLA, FDM, Carbon DLS, metal 3D printing (SLM/LPBF), vacuum casting, investment casting and HSC milling, and processes more than 70 materials ranging from thermoplastics and high-performance polymers such as PEEK to metals such as aluminium, tool steel and stainless steel. Production is carried out on industrial systems with documented quality assurance, starting from a quantity of 1 and without tooling costs. Via an online 3D printing service with real-time price calculation and printability analysis, customers can place orders directly; in addition, a team of engineers provides advice on material and process selection as well as design engineering (DfAM). Customers come from industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical technology, mechanical engineering, dental and robotics.
