About PROTOTEC
PROTOTEC GmbH & Co. KG is a 3D printing service provider from Attendorn in NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia) that has been active in additive manufacturing since 1995. The company produces functional components from prototype to series production using more than 10 processes and over 70 materials: SLS, SLA, MSLA, Carbon DLS, FDM/FFF, SLM/LPBF (metal 3D printing), vacuum casting, investment casting (aluminium, zinc) as well as HSC milling of plastics and non-ferrous metals. Materials processed include thermoplastics such as PA12, PA11 and TPU, high-performance plastics such as PEEK and PEI, photopolymers, and metal powders such as AlSi10Mg, stainless steel 1.4404, titanium and tool steel 1.2709. Production is toolless from a quantity of 1 with no minimum order quantities, with standard delivery times of 3 to 8 working days. Customers come from mechanical engineering, automotive, aviation, medical technology, the electrical industry, toolmaking, lighting technology and consumer goods, predominantly across Europe. The facility at Askay 18 comprises industrial equipment such as SLS systems (Farsoon Flight HT403P-2), Carbon M3 Max printers, vacuum casting systems and HSC milling machines; the offering is complemented by an online configurator with real-time price calculation and engineering-level technical consulting.
