Founded in Nuremberg; first patent (device A1); production of armature testing devices, engine testers and battery ignition coils.
- 1949
Relocation to Egersdorf (today Cadolzburg); deliveries to approx. 60 countries, export share approx. 70 %.

Second plant in Velburg/Upper Palatinate; first fully automatic potting system, introduction of SMD technology.

First digital ignition system in ASIC design; in 1995 the first embedded microcontroller followed.
