About qfmd
qfmd GmbH – Qualification for Microelectronics Dresden – was founded in 2003 and offers modular training and service in technical and methodological fields. The focus is on training for semiconductor technology, electrical engineering (including EFK, EuP, and inspection of electrical systems), quality assurance with statistical methods such as SPC, MSA, and VDA 5, and PLC training with TIA-Portal and WinCC. All courses are modular and can be customized to individual dates; training takes place in a classroom or online format. The training rooms and laboratories are located in the Technology Center Dresden Nord (Building A), are climate-controlled, and are equipped with modern technology. Target groups include the semiconductor industry, its suppliers, and production, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering/maintenance. The course offerings are characterized by small learning groups of a maximum of 8 to 16 participants and practical experienced instructors – both permanent and freelance.
