About us
Ramseier Holzbau AG is a Swiss timber construction company with workshop and registered office at Burgdorfstrasse 7 in Langnau im Emmental. The company operates in the fields of timber construction (carpentry), interior fitting and timber element construction, as well as in its own joinery for kitchens, furniture and window manufacturing. Other areas of activity include house renovation and conversion as well as the restoration of farmhouses in the context of heritage conservation. Wood species used include spruce, silver fir, larch, Douglas fir, oak and beech, as well as wood-based materials such as finger-jointed laminated panels, three-layer panels, OSB, chipboard and plywood; the origin of the wood is declared on a lump-sum basis in accordance with Ordinance SR 944.021. The workforce comprises around 30 employees, including five apprentices in the professions of timber construction EFZ and joinery EFZ; the company regularly trains apprentices and is committed to further training in heritage conservation. The project region covers Burgdorf, the Emmental, Bern, the Oberaargau and Solothurn.
