Why we cast
Reinhold Frei AG is an aluminium foundry in Saland in the Zurich Oberland, specialising in precision aluminium castings. The company produces using permanent mould casting (medium to large series) and sand casting (one-off pieces, prototypes and small series), as well as custom lead casting. With great manufacturing depth, Frei AG accompanies projects from consulting and engineering through mould making and machining to post-treatment and further processing – the result is ready-to-install castings from a single source. A particular focus is on custom-made parts and reverse engineering, for example the reproduction of no longer available castings for vintage cars, leisure and sports as well as home and garden. Customers can be found among others in mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, electrical engineering and medical technology. Quality is ensured by an ISO 9001 management system and modern testing equipment.
