About Reishauer
Reishauer AG is a Swiss machine tool manufacturer headquartered in Wallisellen, specialising in the hard fine machining of gears. The company manufactures continuous generating grinding machines of the RZ 126 to RZ 1000 series, the RS 300 hard generating peel grinding machine, as well as profile grinding heads, auxiliary spindles, automation and loading systems. In addition, Reishauer manufactures in its own production facilities vitrified-bonded corundum grinding wheels, electroplated diamond and CBN dressing tools, and hydraulically and mechanically expanding clamping devices. Continuous generating grinding was introduced by Reishauer in 1945 and is still being developed further today, among other things with high-speed grinding at up to 100 m/s, topological grinding (Twist Control Grinding), and digital products such as ARGUS Monitoring, Closed Loop according to VDI/VDE 2610, and the myReishauer platform. Its main customers are the automotive industry and its suppliers, commercial vehicle manufacturers, aerospace, as well as job shops and general mechanical engineering; a growing field is e-mobility. Manufacturing is carried out with a high level of in-house production depth at the Swiss plants in Wallisellen and Pfaffnau.

Corundum (Al2O3)
Corundum is the abrasive grain of the vitrified-bonded grinding worms used for continuous generating grinding of case-hardened gears.
White fused alumina
White fused alumina is used for standard applications in generating grinding and impresses with controlled fracturing behaviour.
Sintered corundum
Microcrystalline sintered corundum ensures stable grinding properties and fine surface qualities.
Single-crystal corundum
Single-crystal corundum serves the targeted control of material removal performance and surface quality in corundum blends.
Diamond (natural and synthetic)
Diamond is used in electroplated dressing tools for dressing and profiling the corundum grinding worms.
CBN / PCBN
PCBN cutting material enables, with long tool life, the economical hard generating peel grinding of hardened gears.
Case-hardened steel
