About us
RLB Rohrleitungsbau Lange GmbH is a Saxon construction company based in Dresden specializing in buried pipeline construction. The company builds and maintains pipe networks for central heat supply (district heating), renews drinking water distribution networks, upgrades gas networks, constructs wastewater pipelines and installs combined service connections – from small connections to large distribution lines, in all dimensions and pressure classes. Materials used are steel, PE (polyethylene) and cast iron; steel pipes are welded using the TIG process under construction site conditions as well as prefabricated in the company's own workshop. In addition, the company offers its own civil engineering department (pipe trench excavation, standard-compliant shoring, backfilling, transport of excavated and installed materials), industrial insulation with sheet metal cladding on district heating pipelines, TIG welding work and site management activities in pipeline and pipeline engineering. Main customers are municipal utilities and public suppliers in the Dresden area. More than 90 employees (as of 2014) work at the site at Niedersedlitzer Straße 84, which includes office and operational facilities and its own photovoltaic system.
