About Rondo Ganahl

Rondo Ganahl AG is an Austrian family-owned company founded in 1797 with its headquarters in Frastanz (Vorarlberg). Its core business comprises the manufacture of corrugated board packaging and corrugated base papers (testliner) as well as the collection, sorting and processing of recovered paper. The fiber material used consists of 100 % recycled paper (based on the dry mass of the fiber). The base papers are produced in the company's own paper mill in Frastanz and converted into customer-specific packaging at the group's corrugated board plants; in addition, since 2020/2021 the group has offered paper-based molded fiber parts as an alternative to EPS and plastics. Alongside packaging development using CAD, the full printing spectrum is part of the service portfolio – flexographic printing (up to 6 colors), direct offset printing (up to 6 colors and varnish), offset litho-lamination and digital printing (up to 4 colors). Around 1,800 employees at locations in Austria, Hungary, Romania and Germany produce 135,000 t of paper and 363,000 t of corrugated board annually, as well as collecting 80,000 t of recovered paper. Customer industries include, among others, the automotive, food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, mail-order commerce, as well as fruit & vegetables, wine and hazardous goods.
