RSD Metallbau Steglich is a family business founded in 1990 by Rolf Steglich, based in Kirschau (Schirgiswalde-Kirschau) in Upper Lusatia. The company manufactures and assembles assemblies and structures made of steel, stainless steel and aluminium weighing up to 6.5 tonnes – from individual parts to complex assemblies, as one-off production or series. Further services include engineering services including project development and structural analysis, repair work on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic assemblies, and expert inspections (racking systems, lifting equipment, gates, forklifts, pallet trucks). Customers come from mechanical engineering, plant construction, automotive, wastewater technology and the brewing industry. Waterjet and laser cutting, sandblasting, painting, galvanizing and hardening are realized via partner companies.
