About rt-group

The rt-group (RT-CAD Tiefenböck GmbH, rt-mold GmbH, rt-plast GmbH) is a plastic injection molding specialist with in-house toolmaking and a design office in Uttendorf, Upper Austria. Injection-molded parts are produced on 27 automated machines with clamping forces of 50 to 1,700 tonnes and injection volumes of up to 3,500 cm³, including 2K injection molding, metal insert molding and in-mold labeling (IML). The rt-mold toolmaking division produces injection molds and dies using 3- and 5-axis CNC milling, turning, die sinking and wire EDM as well as TIG welding, and offers electrode manufacturing from graphite in a fully automated production cell. In addition, single and small-series parts from lot size 1 are produced in aluminium, steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, plastic and graphite, as well as prototypes (3D printing, vacuum casting, CNC production up to 1,000 x 1,000 x 500 mm). Customers come from the two-wheeler, electrical and electronics, aviation and construction machinery industries, renewable energies as well as heating and energy technology. The 2,500 m² company building houses around 100 employees of the group.
