About rt-group

RT-CAD Tiefenböck GmbH (rt-group) is a plastic injection molding specialist with in-house toolmaking and a design office in Uttendorf, Upper Austria. The company produces injection-molded products ranging from metal overmolding and in-mold labeling (IML) to 2-component injection molding on 27 automated injection molding machines with clamping forces from 50 to 1,700 tonnes. The in-house toolmaking department covers plastic mold making, tool maintenance, contract manufacturing and contract servicing as well as rapid tooling and sample tools. In prototype construction, plastics, metals and resins are processed using 3D printing, vacuum casting, CNC machining, die sinking EDM and graphite machining. From its beginnings as a CAD design office, a full-service offering has developed over more than 25 years — from design through simulation to series production.
