Toolmaking, precision stamped parts and wire EDM from the Black Forest — no minimum order quantity.
Rudi Rau Feinmechanik
Höfen an der EnzNew on Amplifa
Precision mechanics from the Black Forest since 1999
Rudi Rau Feinmechanik is a family business founded in 1999 in Höfen an der Enz in the Black Forest. The sole proprietorship manufactures precision stamped parts and formed parts with material thicknesses from 0.05 to 2.00 mm in steel, all stainless steels and non-ferrous metals — with no minimum order quantity, from single pieces to large-scale series. The entire value chain is in-house: feasibility analysis and tool design with SolidWorks, toolmaking with progressive, bending, embossing and special tools (also with self-contained drives), and wire EDM on an AGIE machine with wire diameters from 0.1 mm and surface finishes down to Ra 0.1 μm. Products include customer-specific electrical contacts made of CuSn6 with electroplated tin coating as well as metal watch hands, whose reference project makes the company one of the few German manufacturers in this niche. Customers come from the automotive and automotive supply industries, medical, watchmaking and sensor technology, electronics and mechanical engineering; automotive parts are entered in IMDS.

Materials and Processes
Stainless steel V4A
High-strength stainless steel in which punched holes Ø 0.80 mm at t = 0.50 mm are produced in series.
Stainless steels
All stainless steel grades are processed in thicknesses from 0.05 to 2.00 mm.
Steel
Base material for stamped parts, formed parts and tools; can also be EDM-machined in the hardened state.
CuSn6 (bronze, tin-plated)
Base material for electrical contacts with electroplated tin coating; combines conductivity, spring hardness and corrosion resistance.
Brass
Material for metal watch hands and other non-ferrous stamped parts.
Aluminium
Used in watch hand production depending on requirements and application.
Non-ferrous metals
Material group for contract stamping in thicknesses from 0.05 to 2.00 mm.
Wire EDM
Wire electrical discharge cutting on an AGIE machine with wire from 0.1 mm and Ra 0.1 μm, also in hardened steel.
Design with SolidWorks
Tool design with the latest SolidWorks version, including feasibility analysis before every project.

Quality and Certification
The quality management system has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since 2008 (certificate 301204, ALL-CERT mbH, valid until 09.05.2027). First articles are inspected and documented before series release, and all production steps are traceable back to the batch; automotive parts are entered in IMDS.
