- 1928
On 7 January 1928, master coppersmith Walter Schmock and coppersmith journeyman Rudolf Richers jointly received their trade licence after their previous employer Jokisch & Großmann was dissolved. Initially repair work on copper washing drums and pipe installation in shipbuilding.
Production shifted towards distillation apparatus and copper double boilers; Rudolf Richers became familiar with electric and aluminium welding as one of the first coppersmiths.
