About S+P Samson
S+P Samson GmbH, based in Kissing (Bavaria), has been a manufacturer of robust industrial labels since 1978 and a specialist for industrial identification solutions in demanding environments. The GRAPHIPLAST® plastic labels introduced in 1978 made the company the market leader in this segment. The product range includes continuous and sheet labels (self-adhesive and hanging), RFID labels (ID4track®), high-temperature labels (GRAPHITHERM® up to 1,200 °C), labels for permanent identification (FORTOBOND®, SecuBond®, STRUCTOBOND®) as well as printers, scanners, camera systems and RFID reading technology, including integration with ERP, WMS and MES systems. Production takes place on the 10,600 m² site in Kissing on production lines for continuous and sheet labels as well as RFID labels; printing is done using thermal transfer and laser printing. The labels are made of plastic films with specific adhesive systems and withstand temperatures up to 580 °C, chemicals, UV exposure and mechanical stress. Customers include the steel industry, steel trading, construction industry, precast concrete manufacturers, automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, the chemical industry and logistics. The company employs almost 100 people and supplies customers worldwide, supported by sales offices in Miami, Montreal, São Paulo, Dubai and Shanghai.

Materials and Processes
GRAPHIPLAST® plastic labels
Robust film-based plastic labels for material identification up to 580 °C, weather-resistant and solvent-resistant.
GRAPHITHERM® high-temperature labels
Self-adhesive up to 1,200 °C or as hang-on tags up to 1,000 °C for extreme thermal processes.
SecuBond® self-adhesive labels
Intermittent adhesive application with an adhesive-free edge prevents adhesive bleed-out in automatic dispensing systems.
FORTOBOND®/STRUCTOBOND® labels
Permanent identification with high adhesion and durability; STRUCTOBOND® as a three-layer composite with heat activation.
ID4track® RFID labels
Adhesive, hang-on, fold-over and bridge labels with RFID inlays, also available as on-metal versions for metallic surfaces.
Plastic films (label substrates)
Substrate materials with different properties regarding temperature, chemical resistance and mechanical stress.
Special adhesives (pressure-sensitive and transfer adhesives, adhesive tapes)
Pressure-sensitive adhesives, transfer adhesives and adhesive tapes are matched to the substrate, temperature and process.
Thermal transfer printing
Printing process for plain text, barcodes and 2D codes with ribbons matched to the material and durability requirements.
Laser printing
Alternative label printing method for industrial identification.
