About us
Sailer Laser Welding is a company based in Mertingen in Bavaria, between Donauwörth and Augsburg in the triangle formed by Nuremberg, Ingolstadt and Rosenheim, specializing in laser welding and build-up welding. Based on a 300-watt laser system, tools and molds are modified, repaired and reconditioned – from design changes and the build-up of complex geometries to the elimination of wear and tool breakage. In mechanical engineering, shrinkage cavities and inclusions in cast parts are closed, and worn rollers, gears and running surfaces are restored to their service hardness. In the vintage car sector, crankshafts, camshafts, engine blocks, housings and sealing surfaces are reconditioned. With the mobile laser system, which is ready for operation in around 30 minutes, welding work can be carried out directly in the customer's production hall, eliminating transport routes and making the size or weight of the tool mold irrelevant. Customers come from tool and mold making, punching and forming technology, machinery and prototype construction, sheet-metal work, aerospace and the automotive industry.
